Stormy at Sunrise
Drat this blogspot layout. It cuts off part of my photo if I try to make it anything larger than "medium". I need to research how to change the html coding on this page so my columns are bigger... if anyone knows how to do that, please point me in the right direction!
Click on the photo to see the detail -- Stormy had icy whiskers this chilly morning a few weeks ago!
As an aside, please visit a new blogger I found this morning, whose photos of California are magnificent. Stickup Artist is a very talented artist in her own right who designs beautiful art for t-shirts... so run on over, and check out her awesome photos!
P.S. A big thanks to Far Side of Fifty and Stickup Artist for their help on adjusting my HTML code here.... as you can see, it worked! :-)

Great photo..you need to change the html code. There is a tutorial out there but since I am old I forget where it is.. It might have been at Bloggers Community Photo Challenge..I will check and come back. Anyways you just need to change the numbers ..not anything else..:)
ReplyDeleteYup there are two tutorials on it over there in their sidebar. You can get there from my photo blog...Bloggers Community Photo Challenge. I have changed my header photo but that is it. I am not too adventureous when it comes to HTML. Good Luck! :)
ReplyDeleteHi Oz Girl,
ReplyDeleteChange the header width, the outer-wrapper width, the main-wrapper width, and the footer width in Edit HTML to accommodate the photo size you want. The photo on the left resides in the main-wrapper.
Just make sure the main-wrapper + sidebar-wrapper add up to the width of the header, outer-wrapper and footer (which should all be the same) including the padding numbers. You may have to noodle it a bit, but that should do it!
Good Luck!
Pretty sunrise, and great shot of your frosty horse! :)
ReplyDeleteHi Again,
ReplyDeleteI was so excited to be able to help you with your HTML that I didn't finish reading your complete post! Imagine my surprise...
Thank you so much for the mention and the link! I'm flattered and gratified and starting my day with a new song in my heart!
I'm floored you liked the t-shirts. They are not everyone's cup of tea but I love doing them.
And Please, just send me an email if you run into any problems modifying your code. I'd be more than happy to help you tweak your layout should you decide to do it.
Great shot! You captured the sunrise and the frosty whiskers well.
ReplyDeletebeautiful photo...beautiful horse
ReplyDeletewow - this picture is totally fantastic - light and colour - great! It´s perfect for a poster
ReplyDeleteAmazing pic. Worth the click! :)
ReplyDeleteThis is a minima stretch template, correct?

ReplyDeleteI see that you are not using the Minima Stretch Template. Doing so would also take care of your photo sizing issues.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo!

Did you know that you can see the html coding on anyone's blog? Right click anywhere on the blog's main page and select view source. Cool.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo! I love the way the horse looks with the sun just coming up!
ReplyDeleteGreat shot - If it were mine I'd print and frame it.
ReplyDeleteWhat a poser!
ReplyDeleteDid you figure out the size because it looks big to me! If not drop me an email because I can pass on my codes.
ReplyDeleteOh, and great shot. Love the icy whiskers!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous shot! I'm going to have to bookmark this post to mess with my html too - by blog is so narrow! Now what I need to know is how you get your photos to post so large! I always chose large on mine but they aren't nearly as big as yours!
ReplyDeleteVery cool shot! Looks like all the pets are becoming good models for you.
ReplyDeleteOh, I love this. The lighting is terrific and your subject so sweet.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful shot !!
ReplyDeleteIt's interesting to see life in Kansas through your blog and your eyes. I have never been off the east coast & I love seeing what life is like in other parts of the country (I can't imagine living with threats of tornados though - they scare me - I'll take the hurricanes, you have days to prepare for them)
