Puerto Rico

As much as I love where we live on the prairie, this time of year I inevitably wish I was somewhere in the tropics, by the ocean. I'm sure many of you do also ~ unless you already live in the tropics. You lucky bug, you.

Here are some shots from a trip to Puerto Rico, several years ago, with my mom and sister. Live ecstatically through them - maybe we can all feel the warmth of the sun if we try hard enough.

We stayed at Las Casitas Village, in case anyone is interested in checking out their website.  The villas are gorgeous!! We got a really, really, really good deal.  I mean, REALLY GOOD.  I doubt we could ever afford to go there ever again!!!

  4. The villas are gorgeous, and that clear ocean water is amazing. Must've been fun. I'm imagining the heat, even now.

  7. Wow, just what I was thinking about today. I am on a site where we post a photo a day and posted a photo at the beach today. Wishing I was there on a sunny, warm day. This looks heavenly and your photos are wonderful. I do not visit your Blog that often but decided to tonight and so glad I did. I think we are all wanting for warm and nice weather and a great place to enjoy it. Great post!!
I just glanced at the last comment, above mine and so grateful for our high 30's in the mornings and 50's in the afternoon and nothing ever below zero.
