I like it because the sky above and below is so subtle, but there is a streak of brilliance. But there are lovely skies the world over - but that wide area in front, with the few bare trees gives it a particularity. It is where you live.

Not only that, the eye is drawn forward through the landscape and up to the sky in the second photo whereas, in the first one, the eye goes straight to the vivid streak across the picture, then, as if blinded by the light, one peers into the forground. That fragments the experience and introduces conflicting emotions.

Well . . . um . . . you did ask!

LucyLucy Corranderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13743561298706555813noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6545106194872177962.post-67304649286294320392009-03-03T09:40:00.000-08:002009-03-03T09:40:00.000-08:00The colors in the first one are so vibrant!Check o...The colors in the first one are so vibrant!

Check out SkyWatch Friday ~ http://skyley.blogspot.com/Christinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01887881304994719206noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6545106194872177962.post-81309104923184074652009-03-03T08:37:00.000-08:002009-03-03T08:37:00.000-08:00Beautiful photos.
