Tonight's Autumn Glow - SkyWatch Friday

Enlarge this one to see the detail... there appears to be two layers of clouds, and there is a newly planted bright green field of winter wheat in the background, to the right. The sun is setting in the west (to my right), and it's casting a golden glow over the entire landscape.

Go to SkyWatch Friday and check out beautiful skies from around the world!

  2. Oh, yes. One of those perfectly lit days. They are so few and far between. This time of year we get some nice light in the evenings around these parts.

You captured the light well. I love the way it falls on the horse. He seems to know the light is just right, too.

  3. Beautiful golden light! Even the horse has sunlight on his ears, and the trees just seem to glow.
