SkyWatch Friday

Moonrise over Kansas prairie

We have a full moon tonight, but my efforts to get a good photograph were just slightly unsuccessful. So I resurrected an older photo of the moon for SkyWatch Friday; I snapped this photo on January 10. It's one of my favorites.

Be sure to head over to SkyWatch Friday to see more
magnificent photos of skies around the world!

  1. I can understand why it would be a favourite. It has a wonderful and serene atmosphere and the colours are so pretty. Also love the open landscape. Seems strange to think that January would be so still autumnlike living up here in the northern hemosphiere.

Thanks for your comment on my SWF post.
