The Big Pasture
First day out in the big pasture, and boy, were the horses lovin' it! This was also the first time we've integrated the mare with the two geldings. There was no big fight scene; everyone seemed to get along just fine. They've been in adjoining pens since we got the mare in January, so it's not like they don't "know" each other.

ReplyDeleteOne of the best things in a country year is to see the joy of cows, usually sedate creatures, go out into the fields after a long winter in the byre. They run and jump all over the place! I haven't lived with horses but it must be wonderful to see them run with excitement.
