Fire and ice. I love that. When I was a full time photojournalist I would be up at the crack of dawn and never stop until I was ready to fall down. The best time for shooting is first thing in the mornings and late in the evenings.
Being semi-retired, and not being a cold weather person, I have not been taking any sunrise or sunset photos, but that would be a good assignment for our weekly town shoot outs later one.
the sun behind the trees is so pretty! and all the pics from your other blog are very cool too! it's crazy how just ice and branches make such stunning pictures. hopefully you won't be much longer without power!! stay safe and warm :)

Great exposure!
Gorgeous photo. I love the way the setting sun silhouettes the trees. The trees themselves are great, too!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo - definitely shows Who really is in charge. I hope that is the last of this nasty weather. However, it did make for a cool picture.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sunset! Hope the ice didn't cause too much damage to your trees.
ReplyDeletePoor tree, but a beautiful picture! I hope no early crops were damaged with the storm.
