I was cruising along some old country roads this afternoon when I saw this wild turkey cross in front of me. Of course, by the time I got to the point where he crossed, he was making some pretty fast tracks through the woods, so this was as close a shot as I could get.
Nice capture!

ReplyDeleteCool photo! Bet you're glad you had the camera with you. When I went to pick my kids up from school today, three Canada geese were walking up the sidewalk together and I was wishing I had thought to grab my camera...
ReplyDeleteVery cool! I tried to get a picture of a turkey the other day but by the time I got my camera, he was in the woods.
ReplyDeletePerhaps he didn't want to get stuffed...that would make me run too!!
ReplyDeleteHow cool! I've had chickens & roosters run in front of me, but never turkeys (at least not birds!)--I work in a rural area.
ReplyDeleteYou did good! I have to go after some more turkey shots before hunting season opens..but the ditches are still full of water:(
